Palm Beach Illustrated reports a surprising confirmation from Carrie Fisher…she WILL be reprising her role as Princess Leia!

Since the announcement of an episode 7 being directed by JJ Abrams, the speculations and rumors have been blasting in from every direction. My guess was that their accuracies were as good as a Stormtroopers aim. For Fisher, however, rumor became a reality with her recent interview.

From the interview:

Q: Disney is going to continue the Star Wars saga, producing movies set to hit theaters starting in 2015. Can you confirm whether you’ll reprise the role of Princess Leia?
A: Yes.

Q: And still wearing the bagel buns?
A: The bagel buns and the bikini, because probably she has sundowners syndrome. At sundown, she thinks that she’s 20-something. And she puts it on and gets institutionalized.

Was Fisher being serious or is this just some sarcastic humour on her part? If she is serious my only wonder is…will she reprise the “slave girl” costume too?
