Legendarium TV Recap: Arrow (Season 5, Episode 8)

Arrow-Season 5 Episode 8- Invasion!

It is the 100th episode of Arrow and the third night of the crossover. The episode definitely is one not to miss. There are characters from seasons one to four.

In this episode…

Oliver wakes up to a world where his parents and Laurel are alive. He and Laurel are about to be married. Felicity faces a new threat with help from The Flash and Supergirl, and Cisco uses his meta-human power to find out where Oliver and the others are.

Oliver starts to have flashes of the real world where he is Arrow.  The Hood is John Diggle in Oliver’s dream world. Ray Palmer and Sara Lance are in the dream world as well. Ray, Sara, and Thea all start having flashes of their real lives. Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) shows up and fights with Oliver and John, and then Sara gets involved in the fight and kills Deathstroke. Malcolm Merlyn is also there for the wedding. Tommy Merlyn is still alive. Felicity and Ray are engaged. Thea does not want to leave the dream world, and Oliver is not able to convince her to leave with them. Finally, Thea changes her mind, and then John, Sara, Ray, Oliver, and Thea fight with Deathstroke, Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn, and another bad guy from their past.

Next, the group prepares to make their way back to the real world. They wake up and find out they are in space on an alien ship, and then Felicity is able to figure out where they are and now the question is how to get them back. They steal one of the ships and fly out. Other ships follow them and start shooting. Felicity is able to get in touch with the ship that the Legends use and they are able to get Oliver and the others out of harm’s way.

Coming up…

Thursday night’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow will end the four-night crossover event. The final battle between the aliens and our heroes happens.
