Game of Thrones Piracy
by Andrea R. Cooper

Game of Thrones (GOT) an HBO series based on the George R.R. Martin books Song of Fire and Ice series.

Just two days ago on May 2, 2014, HBO demanded Google remove all pirated links of the show. No wonder, because it is estimated that at least 1.5 million people have downloaded a GOT episode illegally.

What is a non-HBO user to do?

If you do not want to engage in criminal activity, yet still want to watch the show, here are your options so far:

1) Pay for HBO
2) Buy the DVDs when they are released
Or if you have no money for this addiction,
3) Use your Netflix account. Yes, that is correct; Netflix has the DVDs for rent. Currently, they have Season 1-3 available and Season 4 to come when HBO releases the DVDs.

So, please research before clicking that link to a free GOT episode. It is not worth the jail time and fines.

  1. Us poor Aussies 🙁
We’re trapped in this island of useless internet that wouldn’t sustain a Netflix…
