Cubicle 7 Entertainment & Sophisticated Games have spent the past few years releasing the third incarnation of the officially licensed role-playing game set in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth. Today they revealed new information, and the cover art for their long anticipated Rivendell setting supplement.

With Jon Hodgson continuing to produce fantastic, evocative art (as seen by this cover image) and industry veteran Francesco Nepitello helming a team of writers that includes Amado Angulo, Shane Ivey, Andrew Kenrick, Marco Maggi, Thomas Morwinsky and James M. Spahn*, this long awaited supplement is sure to please fans of J.R.R. Tolkien and table-top gamers alike!

More than just a book detailing the Last Homely House, Rivendell promises to give an overview of Angmar, Fornost, Mount Gram and other nearby locations. Top that off with rules for Magicial Treasures and two new cultures (High Elves of Rivendell and Rangers of the North), rules for using the Eye of Sauron (a specific icon on the game’s unique dice) against the players, and this is shaping up to be quite a supplement.

No official release date is provided on the Cubicle 7 Entertainment website, but with this announcement and the reveal of the cover art we hope it’s coming very soon! Be sure to keep an eye on the Cubicle 7 Website stay tuned to Legendarium News for the latest updates!
