The Bat is back…again! Although Batman: Arkham Origins takes place years before the events of both Asylum and City, Origins is not a retelling of the Dark Knight’s beginnings. It will indeed be a prequel to previous games, but can also serve as a stand-alone. According to Game Informer’s interview with WB Games Montreal, Origins will feature eight assassins, including the first appearance of Deathstroke in the game series, who converge on the streets of Gotham in an effort to kill Batman. Batman: Arkham Origins will hit store shelves on October 25, 2013 for the Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
